The paradox of our time in history is that we have taller buildings but shorter tempers, wider Freeways, but narrower viewpoints. We spend more, but have less, we buy more, but enjoy less. We have bigger houses and smaller families, more conveniences, but less time. We have more degrees but less sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, yet more problems, more medicine, but less...

So, I love the History Channel. I also have a slight thing for the paranormal. (What? Those ghost shows are interesting!) And I’m thinking that means I should go on the Alcatraz night time tour while I’m in San Francisco. Even my friends thought that it seemed like something I would do, solo or not. It’s going to be so cool! I’m totally coming off as a dork right now,...

I can attest to the fact that oreos and uke can make almost any day better. Hope you feel better.
Well, now that there is solid statistical background that this is indeed effective, I will commence with oreos and uke. Thank you :)

Why why why do I never listen to my own advice and always believe what people say? Actions, not words, J. You end up feeling like a fool. Like right now. I’m just going to go play my ukulele. Maybe it’ll make me feel better. Ukulele and oreos.

Have any of you guys used TinEye? It’s a reverse image search engine. Totally using this the next time I need to know where an image came from or what it is. It looks pretty simple, doesn’t it? I hope it works! That would be just nifty. P.S. Hi new followers! P.P.S. Thank you to my followers who have also started following my other blog!

I’m thinking of heading to San Francisco/Oakland for the end of April and beginning of May. Why then? I can see The Head And The Heart and Explosions In The Sky while I’m there… Yes, shows are a major factor in trip planning. Especially on solo trips where one can enjoy their time to the fullest.
