I just came from a festival we’re having in the city and I bought a coconut shell thumb piano. I’ve always wanted one since I was a kid. Now it can make friends with my rain stick from Mexico, ukulele from Hawaii, harmonica, and xylophone. My album drops later this year. Keep your ear to the ground.

e. e. cummings, "since feeling is first"
sharingpoetry: since feeling is first who pays any attention to the syntax of things will never wholly kiss you; wholly to be a fool while Spring is in the world my blood approves, and kisses are a better fate than wisdom lady i swear by all flowers. Don’t cry —the best gesture of my brain is less than your eyelids’ flutter which says we are for each other: then laugh, leaning back in my arms...

1000poems: Misconception Of Love Poems (220) All my love poems are not for you, don’t be mistaken. I write because I have love inside of me, but I don’t have an object pronoun. I love. That is all. I love, and sometimes, that love turns into the Moon Girl, sometimes, it turns into the Spanish Man. And other times, into a You. But it’s not You You, so don’t. When you’re so full of love, you...

Midnight in Paris
Hemingway: Are you afraid of death? If you are a writer, surely you cannot be afraid of dying.
Gil: Actually, I’m very afraid of death... it’s probably my biggest fear.
Hemingway: Well, I don’t see why. It’s something all man has done before, and all man will do. Have you ever made passionate love to a truly good, beautiful woman?
Gil: Well, my fiancee is pretty sexy.
Hemingway: And when you make love to her, your fear of death is gone, at least in that moment, right?
Gil: No sir, definitely not.
Hemingway: When you are truly in love, when you make love, you will feel immortal. Then you must make love again. And again.
