Pay no attention to what they say, only what they do. Because actions speak louder than words. (And we all know a picture’s worth a thousand.) I learned the hard way that they all say things you want to hear. Every asshole in the world says he loves somebody. It means nothing… What you feel only matters to you. It’s what you do to the people you say you love, that’s what matters. It’s the only thing that counts. You’re going to come across people in your life who will say all the right words at all the right times. But in the end, it’s always their actions you should judge them by. If the actions contradict the words, then the words mean nothing. I don’t know about you, but I am not imposed upon by fine words; I can see what actions mean. Life happens at the level of events, not of words. Trust movement… or lack thereof.
